Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 September 2026. These terms govern your use of Dripping Leaf apps (including Fog Scouts API) and drippingleaf.com.

1. Agreement

By installing or using our apps or website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. The services

Dripping Leaf provides software applications and documentation. Features may change. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of a service with or without notice when needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If an app requires credentials or API keys, you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for activity under those credentials.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse APIs, scrape in abusive ways, or overload our systems.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
  • Use the apps for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Reverse engineer the apps except where local law expressly allows it.
  • Remove proprietary notices from the apps or docs.

5. Intellectual property

Apps, branding, logos, and documentation are owned by Dripping Leaf or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the apps for personal or internal purposes as distributed via Google Play, subject to these Terms and Play's terms.

6. Third-party services

Apps may depend on third-party platforms (for example Google Play) or external APIs. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes.

7. Purchases

If paid features are offered, billing is handled by Google Play unless we state otherwise. Refunds follow Google Play's policies and applicable law.

8. Disclaimer

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dripping Leaf is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the app feature in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) 50 EUR.

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Dripping Leaf against claims arising from your misuse of the services or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the apps at any time by uninstalling them. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimer, liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence require otherwise.
